Weight loss guru Jenny Craig has put her Del Mar home for sale at $39.5 million, making it one of the most expensive homes for sale in San Diego County.Jenny Crai'g's Del Mar home for sale is listed at $39.5 million

The 8,000-square-foot home boasts a courtyard swimming pool, spa, three kitchens, including a chef’s kitchen, a beachfront patio, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, and a four-car garage. It has separate guests quarters with a living room, bathroom and kitchen. The property was listed for sale in late July.

Craig, 82, bought the property in 1986 for $3.25 million. She also owns other real estate in San Diego, including a home in Rancho Santa Fe, and a 200-acre thoroughbred training center in Rancho Santa Fe, which was listed for sale for several years until it was pulled from the market in 2012.

In 2011, Craig sold a 10,000-square-foot home in Rancho Santa Fe for $6.05 million.

The most expensive luxury home sold in San Diego County last year was an $18.5 million mansion for sale in Del Mar.
